The new workers all have backgrounds in information technology and they were brought on board in order to supplement the IT team which is based in the Chicago office and headquarters of AlphaMetrix.

At the end of the training period the newcomers will transition into their roles as programmers and support, or quality control specialists.

AlphaMetrix Chief Executive Aleks Kins said,

“We are extremely satisfied with the calibre of IT resources we were able to recruit in the Columbus market. We have been challenged to find suitable IT talent in Chicago, and with the continued expansion of our technology and the resources necessary to support it, we are pleased with the results of this initiative.”

The additional 18 employees will combine with the current technology staff to create an IT body of 50 workers, representing about 33 percent of the total number of employees at AlphaMetrix.
