Citi, the largest global bank, recently boosted its global proficiencies for managing and custody services in order to provide fund managers with the ability to create efficient, educated and effective investment processes.

The new enhanced liquidity element is part of Citibank’s ongoing efforts to remain flexible and adaptive to the shifting liquidity terms, conditions and markets across the globe. The new capabilities implement investor level gates, allowing clients to project the potential liquidity of their hedge fund investments, as well as to monitor a complete trade life cycle at once.

Sanjiv Sawhney of Citibank said:

“As investors in funds of hedge funds demand more information on liquidity and portfolio performance, these new features become critical for managers.

“In today’s environment, clients need solutions designed specifically for funds of hedge funds to be able to make informed decisions.”

Citi’s new platform, called Citi OpenInvestor, aims to cater to the needs of today’s most diversified investor. It combines front, middle and back office services, comprehensive capabilities and Citi’s global network.
